RRCAT Achievements (Chess)

Master Vedant Singh Tomar (CHSS No. 953 D), a member of the RRCAT Staff Club family, has become the UNDER 11 MP STATE CHESS CHAMPION for the year 2018, in the boys category. He has been selected to represent MP in the nationals in the under 11 age category. He won 6 of his matches and drew one. He defeated all higher FIDE rated players in the process. Vedant, started learning chess about 4 years back and benefited immensely from the summer camps organized by RRCAT Staff Club. He also won the UNDER 7 MP STATE CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP in the year 2014. It is a matter of great pride for all RRCAT Staff Club members RRCAT Staff Club congratulates Master Vedant for this remarkable achievement and wishes him all the best for all his future endeavors.
