The Science Discovery Club will be screening the first episode of the seven part BBC series "Attenborough in Paradise and Other Personal Voyages" on Jan 18, 2019 in the Vikram Sarabhai Hall, Convention Centre, from 7 to 8 PM. All members of the Science Explorers Club of AECS, Staff Club of RRCAT and HBNI scholars are invited to the screening.
Episode Brief: A Blank on the Map
The central area of New Guinea was thought to be uninhabited until aerial photographs showed signs of human habitation. Attenborough accompanies an expedition into the interior to find and make contact with these people and map the area.(Source Wikipedia).
